Mark L. Morrissey is a retired professor of meteorology at the University of Oklahoma. His work combines atmospheric science, quantitative methods, software experimentation, options research, and plain-English technical writing.

Purpose

This site is the technical counterpart to Practical Retiree Lab. It separates research, simulators, options publications, atmospheric science, and quantitative methods from the retiree-focused books, online-safety tools, and activities on the main retiree site.

Research standards

Assumptions should be visible. Results should be reproducible where practical. Simulators should expose trade-offs rather than promise outcomes.
